Fall Smallmouth Bass in North Hills of Pittsburgh

I got some fishing in Monday afternoon on Pine Creek off of Wildwood Road (Hampton) outside of North Park in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. I landed 4 smallmouth bass with the biggest being 14 inches. The 14 incher was caught with a chartreuse trout magnet and the others with a Panther Martin spinner.

Poets talk about "spots of time," but it is really fishermen who experience eternity compressed into a moment. No one can tell what a spot of time is until suddenly the whole world is a fish and the fish is gone. I shall remember that S.O.B. forever.
