The Allegheny River was still a bit high and brown from the massive storms of last week. With the water running high and muddy brown it was important to look for side pockets along the river that weren't moving too fast that might be holding fish. I found them, albeit they were small... smallmouth bass.

The Details
Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 3:30pm - 5:00pm est. It was about 70 degrees outside, sunny and the water was chocolate colored but clearer near shore where the lure was visible. I fished in two locations along he Allegheny River from the shore into slower moving pools along the river where I caught the three Smallmouth bass.
